Abstract

This article aims to study the seniority list of career in the Public Ministry of the State of Amazonas, therefore want to examine the assumptions on which are formed seniority lists the initial provision and derived career provisionses from defined legal criteria in Federal Constitution, National Organic Law and Amazonas Organic Law. The general objective of the article is to clearly present concepts that allow a better understanding of the theme, mainly due to apparent conflicts between the devices that establish criteria of seniority for promotional purposes. Thus, specifically examining the conceptually seniority in federal and state law, the constitutionality is indicated the adoption of certain tiebreakers by state law; and finally, when investigating form seniority lists and when to remain unchanged. The methodology used is one of bibliographical and documentary research, once one examines doctrinal and legal concepts. At the end, it intend to provide answers to help understanding of the subject in all its extension and allow the technical discussion of the matter, contributing to its evolution, since it is a subject that has direct effects on the functional life of several members of career ministerial.
