Abstract

The demand-side profile has always marked the work of the Public Ministry. However, the new attributions of the Parquet granted by the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the extrajudicial instruments that emerged allow the growth of the resolution model, fundamental to avoid judicialization. This article sought to analyze, qualitatively, how the 3rd Prosecutor’s Office in Baturité (CE) used these extrajudicial instruments to solve the demands that arose from March to September 2020, a period marked by the 19-pandemic pandemic. The analysis of the extrajudicial performance of the aforementioned prosecutor’s office was carried out with reference to the characteristics of the MP’s resolving dynamics listed by Rodrigues (2011)
