Abstract

Although corruption is one of the most studied subjects in several countries of the globe, so far no path has been taken towards its complete eradication. By assuming the phenomenon as a factor of violation of social rights, we seek, based on the Brazilian context and supported by graphic and statistical elements, to understand its harmful effects on the population, as well as highlighting the participation of the justice organs, such as the Public Ministry, regarding the implementation of measurements to prevent and punish corrupt behavior.
