Abstract

The impact created by technology were able to change deeply the way that people used to interact with the world: today, the effects of technology can be seen in everything. The repercussion of this technological revolution were able to change even the way people work. The relationship between employer and employees is not the same anymore. People no longer need to relocate to a work place and stay there for a period, doing what they were hired to do. Technology made it possible to create a much more free and dynamic way to work. With that in mind, this article aims to identify the differences brought by technology and to analyze, in a more specific way, if it is possible to identify a legal employment relationship between Uber and its drivers.
